Andy Kaufman’s Full Discography

Every bit of media of Andy Kaufman out there sorted into chronological order.

With Andy Kaufman, it’s important to be able to understand clips in relation to each other. For example, in a Fridays TV Special he hosted, he did a sketch at the end where he got into a big fight with cast over not wanting to read the lines. Then the next week, seemingly forced by the director sitting next to him, had to give an apology.

A guy called Joe did most of the leg work in archiving the brunt of the catalogue. I created a spreadsheet where I synced up a table of television appearences from Kaufman’s wikipedia and a list of life events found on a fan site, then scoured the interwebs for any extra clips, seperated some compilations out and renamed some for clarity. There are still many tv apperances missing and dates of stand up club nights possibly recorded, but neither anywhere easily findable.

For a a much longer list of life events with videos mixed in click here. Plus any suggestions or fixes are super welcome.

First I’ll show it categorised into 4 blocks, then at the end I’ll show it all together. All links are easily downloadable.

Finally here is a great podcast from the list with Kaufman’s comedy partner Bob Zmuda:

Captain Hotknives’ Greatest Hits

I’ve been compiling a library of comedians content to be able to listen to and study when I’m on the road.

I got through transcribing a bunch of Captain Hotknives’ songs, so I just thought to create an album of for me what are his ‘greatest hits,’ from a mix and match of finding what I think are the best quality versions out there of each song.

I’ve sent them on to Chris (Captain Hotknives) encase he would like to make use of them and present them here in the mean time.

As well you can download them on archive.org.

Captain Hotknives’ Platforms:

UK Travel Master List of Resources; Free/cheap things to do and campaigns to help.

I’ve built 2 large spreadsheets of resources that can be found using a simple gps navigator. GPS navigators have the advantage over smart phones of having a long battery life and they don’t rely on internet access. But I’m also building a google map that can be downloaded on the app to use offline.

I made this for my planned cycle tour, but it should be useful to others who are travelling or as a resource for things happening local to you.  It may also provoke ideas for projects in your own area.

Click the links below to see:

I also plan to print a series of pamphlets seperated by areas of the UK to have and distribute as back up hard copies.

This article will explain it’s uses, including:

  • What type of resources are included?
  • Examples of information gathered
  • Future data gathering ideas

Cultural Survival believes that vibrant and durable communities rest on the principles of self-determination, human rights, informed citizenry and access to information, the freedom of expression, and the right to organize and shape the future in a way consistent with one’s tradition, language, culture and community – and we believe Indigenous Peoples have the power and solutions to solve many of today’s problems when respected and empowered to do so.

Goals

  1. Collect food and tat to distribute through Food not Bombs, Real Junk Food Projects, Foodbanks & Freegle.
  2. Gather data – Map skipping, foraging & hitchhiking locations. Update information on campaign/communalist event calanders, location maps & tables. Take notes of resources and swap pdf libraries to update personal favorites on my hardrive and both community resource directories.
  3. Discuss/advocate total liberation philosophy.
  4. Help restore wildlife habitat and save some foxes
  5. Distribute, swap & collect movement leaflets & zines.
  6. Listen to tons of audiobooks and podcasts through boneshaker headphones & read back over sections on an e-book at night.
  7. Go wild swimming, caving & hiking.
  8. See live music and swap mp3 libraries.
  9. Participate in outdoor sports & games e.g. chess in the park, ping-pong parlors, cards with strangers, kabaddi & volleyball.

.

Hypotheses for creative writing

  1. It will be easier on the road to get enjoyment from study, so long as I don’t reach a point where I only want to speed read volumes.
  2. The expense of not being able to spend as much time organizing in one place and to a timeschedule will be made up for in the quantity of people I can gather grassroots knowledge from and establish intellectual connections with.
  3. It would be worth sharing free food with strangers that contain animal products, but it wouldn’t be worth hunting/fishing to extend the length of the trip.

Summary of UK campaign/communalist groups, events & locations + how to keep them updated.

Looking for food not bombs groups in the UK I found the information on the umbrella organisations website outdated, so I checked all the individual chapters pages and created an updated article.

So in cases where there’s no volunteer web developer on hand I’ll to try to be a point of contact for keeping information updated.

As well as creating tables, maps and colanders where none existed before hand in easily viewable share links, then sending them to the campaign web developer to host on their site.

Many sites do already have maps for things happening near you, as well as an easy process for how to update them, so check them out below and help out with information also where you can.

As well you can comment below any important ones I’ve missed or suggestions on formatting.

Food not Bombs – UK Chapters

Food Not Bombs gathers food that would otherwise be thrown out by shops and uses it to cook vegan or freegan meals, which we give out for free on the streets and at events. In doing this, we aim to show how much food is wasted needlessly and to eliminate some of this waste. We oppose the spending of money on weapons in the face of world hunger, an issue that we believe could be solved with suitable logistics.

Copyright striked (now on archive.org)

I’m careful about what I re-upload and do so assuming with most it’s simply content the creator no longer wants front and center of their channel, but wouldn’t mind it being archived elsewhere. I would almost always take down videos if asked, the one exception is whistleblowing bigoted right wing propoganda the creator is trying to cover up.
